Description of the publication.
Facsimile edition of the manuscript, research. Reproduced in the facsimile of the publication handwritten reconstruction outstanding monuments of the law of Ancient Rus': Pravda Ruska, the Law of Judgment to people, etc. The handwritten text reproduced in this edition is written in a large ustav. The handwritten text is decorated with initials, headpieces, miniatures. The handwritten reconstruction of Pravda Ruska was made on the basis of the Trinity I list, which is contained in a magnificent 14th-century manuscript - Meril the Righteous. A distinctive feature of the handwritten list of Pravda Ruska given in the publication is that this is the most complete list of the Long Edition of Pravda Ruska. It includes articles of Pravda that are not in the Trinity I List; obvious typos and other defects in this list have been corrected. As a result, the text of the Extended Truth, close to the original, was hand-written.
Second part of the publication contains an article about the history of the formation and genesis of Pravda Ruska with a description of its lists and editions. The publication contains translations of articles by Pravda Ruska into Russian, English and German. The publication also contains comments on articles reproduced legal monuments. The final part provides an explanatory dictionary of terms and expressions found in Pravda Ruska and other legal monuments.
The transcription of the reproduced handwritten text of the Long Truth is made in a stylized font. This made it possible, to a certain extent, to convey the graphics of the old text, as well as to dispense with virtually no replacement of obsolete letters of the Old Rus' alphabet.
Each of the copies of the publication is decorated with a miniature depicting the Righteous Judge. Each of their miniatures is painted by hand by the icon-painters of the Intercession Monastery (Kyiv) in the manner of an exquisite Byzantine book miniature. Applied materials: egg tempera, gold. The screensavers of the facsimile reconstructed handwritten list also contain hand-painted elements.
Each of the 10 copies of this edition is unique due to differences in the color of the leather of the binding, decorative elements, endpapers, book block materials. Microcirculation makes them worthy gems of a private collection or a museum collection.
